IM Plus, Accessible Skype Beta, Tweets60, Facebook bookmark, you know the score, same as the Iphones and Ipod Touch topic, only, please, specify which apps work with which edition of Symbian, for example, Talks 4.11.3 Standard/Premium for Symbian S60 3rd edition 9.1, 9.2 or 9.3 handsets. I use all of the above apps on my Nokia N96 and she runs like a dream.

IM+ has a 7 day trial. Be sure to get the older version from blindsea.com

Yeah, or version 7.14 or the earlier build of version 8, not exactly sure what it is. They're both accessible with Talks. It's just this horrible version 8.11 which isn't.

O and, to add to mmy previous post 4, I think IM Plus is just a multi-messenger client. Doesn't do Email or anything. It just runs with at least 8 different clients. GoogleTalk, AOL, ICQ chat, MSN/WindowsLive, Yahoo, MySpace and Java, plus you can get a Skype IM add on as well.

hi, the skype beta from the skype garage is very accessible but for some reason will not work for me, it will not come over my phone's soundcard...even with talks muted. IMplus was cool when it was accessible but now it's realy not.

still works for me the skype app does. I know IM plus has a 7 day trial but after the trial does it still work in "lite" mode with some features disabled?

I just downloaded IM+. I'll find out in a few days what happens. It works pretty good, except I can't read what messages were sent. Talks will read the first message, but not the proceeding ones.

I got the one from the blindsea website. Going to look at version. Here it is. Version 7.14. I think the new one is 8.something. I think it must be the phone I have, which is an E63.

New version of IM Plus, totally inaccessible and deadville with Talks and probably MobileSpeak is version 8.11. Take my advice, lol, don't touch it with a 200 Ft barge pole, stick with version 7.14 or earlier, and in answer to post 8, no, you can't continue using IM Plus after the 7 day trial expires without purchasing the licence from ShapeServices, and, beware of running both IM Plus and Skype together. IM Plus hates the voice chat file, so it crashes with that and after a succession of 3 or 4 crashes, could brake your registration key so you have to register IM Plus all over again.
